Aero contractors to begin flight operations to Uyo

UYO—AERO Contractors has declared that it would soon commence commercial flight operations to Ibom International Airport, Uyo.

The company’s Head of Commercials, Mr. Robert Prophet, announced this when he led other officials of the airline on a courtesy visit to Governor Godswill Akpabio.

Robert, who lauded Governor Akpabio’s development strides, said his company looked forward to a unique and faithful partnership with the state.
Akpabio, who was represented by his deputy, Mr. Patrick Ekpotu, commended the initiative of Aero Contractors to begin operations at the airport, assuring that the government and people of Akwa Ibom were ready for the airline.

Describing the coming together of Aero Contractors and Ibom International Airport as a fusion of two great brands, the governor said: “The airport, conceived to provide international aviation services, is already receiving wide acclaim and patronage.”

Akpabio assured the company that his administration was prepared to give some special consideration that would enable the airline provide efficient and satisfactory services to the people.

In attendance during the visit were some members of the State Executive Council and the Chairman Airport implementation Committee, Otuenkong Idongesit Nkanga.
