STI assures better service delivery this year

Management of     Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc has assured that 2010 will be mutually rewarding to all stakeholders of the company.

Mr. Wale Onaolapo, Managing Director of the company urged members of staff and other senior management colleagues to re-double and rededicate their efforts at ensuring that customers are kept satisfied at all times in the New Year and beyond. In his words, “we owe our customers the obligation to serve them more and more so that they can keep coming back as we are in business because of them”.

He went further to stress that the company will continually do all within its power to ensure that the staff are constantly exposed to the best of human capacity development training both within and abroad with a view to expanding the professional horizon of the workforce and ultimately, engender quality and better service delivery to the customers. He also encouraged every member of staff to personally develop themselves at every given opportunity they have.STI boss said that the company has enhanced its claims payment processes to speed up settlemeng.

Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc has never been found wanting when it comes to meeting its claims settlement obligations. The company which was established in 1995 presently has a network of twenty one branches spread across the country. It will be recalled that Sovereign Trust Insurance was recently rated A- for the second time running by Global Credit Rating (GCR) a world renowned rating agency based in South Africa. The company’s financials in terms of the gross premium and profit have been on the upward swing over the years. Sovereign Trust is also poised to be one of the top five Insurance companies in the country by the year 2012.

Mr. Emmanuel Anikibe, Head of the claims department corroborated the Managing Director that the department is totally committed to achieving a stress-free claims process procedure in making the STI brand a preferred choice for patronage amongst other insurance companies in the country.

Anikibe pointed out that genuine claim will be processed speedily for settlement as soon as necessary documentations are put in place. According to him, “we must let our various policyholders, individuals or corporate, know that claims settlement is what insurance business is all about”.
