Lagos—The Chairman, Board of Trustees, New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, Dr Boniface Aniebonam, has said his party might enter into alliance with others in the governorship poll in Anambra State.

Aniebonam dropped the hint in Lagos, yesterday during an interactive session with newsmen.

“The NNPP is not ruling out an alliance if it finds a compatible political party with similar ideologies. What is most important is the genuineness for a change in Anambra. We will not hesitate to come together with anyone who has the zeal to bring about change and development,” he said.

Earlier, Mr Ugochukwu Egolum, the party’s gubernatorial candidate, had urged the Inspector General of Police, Mr Ogbonnaya Onovo, to substantiate his claims of conspiracy to rig the elections.
