Esperance of Tunisia player  Michael Eneramo believes the team has  learnt its lesson after the sloppy display in Abuja penultimate Sunday   against Carthage Eagles of Tunisia as he  assured a total commitment in their remaining matches.

The Nigeria Green Eagles squandered their chance of toppling the Group B in their quest for the 2010 World Cup billed for South Africa.
Eneramo who made his debut in a friendly match against Ireland opined that brighter days were ahead for the team in their remaining two matches.

“Honestly speaking we have learned our lesson in the last  match and I believe we would do better in our remaining matches as it is not over yet. We are trying our best not to miss out again in the World Cup especially the first ever World Cup that will be staged on African soil next year,” he told Brila FM sports.

However, Seyi Olofijana has gone spiritual in order for the Green Eagles to qualify for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. According to him Nigeria’s qualification for the 2010 World Cup is very vital and  would be a disaster if the country failed again, adding that it will also affect the players in their various clubs.

“Afer our unimpressive performance, I have been having negative thoughts on our qualification but I just don’t want to think about it. It will be a disaster  if Nigeria do not qualify for the competition. It would not only affect the country it would also definitely affect  us in our various club sides, However, I have turned into prayer for us to be in the World Cup” he said.
