The Lagos State Government is offering free meal for 2,000 members of the state public service daily throughout the duration of the Ramadan fasting.

Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State who disclosed this Monday at the launch of Mobile Kitchen Services in Alausa, Ikeja, noted that the kitchen showed that opportunity abounds for daring entrepreneurs and business entities to invest in the state.

According to him, “I believe that someday, many more younger people and younger entrepreneurs would begin to look at this kind of facility, will begin to look at the un-propelled facilities they can hook to their motor bikes and cars and after a good day’s business of sales, everybody goes home with their cars.

This is what you would see at beaches and stadiums across the world and this is what the centre of excellence has flagged off within the largest public service amongst the 36 states of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”

Commending the management of Mobile Kitchen for the initiative and the State’s Public Service for driving the initiative, which according to him, will afford the state opportunity to show some concern on the welfare of the state public servants during the period of the fast.
