The latest kidnap in the state is coming barely a month after two women were kidnapped and released four days after.
One of the kidnapped women is Iyabo, the wife of the state Lands Commissioner Alhaji Sikiru Basaru while the other is Sola,wife of DR Alli, a Permanent Secretary in the state.

It was reliably gathered that majority of the local governments were financially handicapped due to zero allocation they received from the state government for over five months, it was confirmed that the state took decision to fish out those who involved in financial misappropriation at their local governments.
