WARRIâ€”Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan of Delta StateÂ has stated that completion of the Koko-Ebabelemaji Road projectÂ in Warri North Local Government Area, being handled by Python construction company, would open up the area for development.
Commending Python construction company for the quality of work and pace in the execution of the projects, Governor Uduaghan added that the pace of work by the company showed that it was ready to partner with the government to improve the living standard of thepeople.
The governor who was accompanied by the stateâ€™s Commissioner for Works, Mr. Paul Osaji, said: â€œThe performance of Python showed that it is possible to bring infrastructural development to the difficult terrain of the riverside areas of the Niger Delta.
The effort of Python Engineering Company is commendable. I am impressed by the pace and level of work done on Koko-Ebabelemaji Road .â€œThe completion of the road would open up the area for development and what the Python Engineering Company is doing here shows that no part of the state is difficult to develop.
I am optimistic that the project would be completed within stipulated time and I am urging other construction companies to emulate the good example set by Python in the execution of this project.â€
The governor had been briefed by Pythonâ€™s Project Manager, Mr. Mohamad Kanaan, on the progress on the project.
In his reaction, Pythonâ€™s Director of Administration, Mr. Allison Amaefula, said standard and quality were the watchwords of the operation of the construction company, adding that Python has distinguished itself in the oil industry in the country.
Amaefula thanked the Governor for giving indigenous companies the opportunity to operate in the state.
