BIRNIN-KEBBI—KEBBI State government, yesterday, disclosed that plans were under way to commence an electronic budget in 2018.

Government said it will enable citizens have easy access to the state’s budgetary process.

It also vowed to diversify the economy of the state by partnering with private companies to produce marketable products.

Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Zailani Yauri, said these during a visit  to the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Secretariat in Birnin Kebbi.
