AHEAD the 2016 governorship election in Edo State, immediate past governor of Delta State, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan penultimate Sunday, interacted with governorship aspirants of the party, charging them to be good ambassadors of the party ahead of the party primaries.
The PDP aspirants included former state representative on the board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Matthew Iduoriyekemwen, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, Osaro Onaiwu and Chief Solomon Edebiri.
The aspirants were meant to answer questions from Uduaghan and the 15-man committee set up by the state leadership of the party. The interactive session held at the residence of the former chairman Board of Trustees of the party, Chief Tony Anenih, who it was learned declared that integrity and not money will be considered when picking the governorship candidate of the party.
The aspirants were warned against embarking on campaign of calumny, just as Dr Uduaghan speaking from experience told them to work harder as a governorship project is not a tea party.
