In the last three years, 500 drug addicts have been taken off the streets of Plateau State, treated, rehabilitated and reintegrate into the society, an expert in the treatment of addicts, Dr. Mayowa Okonoda, disclosed.

As stakeholders intensify efforts to curtail attacks on Plateau communities, lawyers in the state have cautioned its elites against allowing themselves to be used to cause disaffection among the ethnic groups.

We are waiting impatiently for the Presidency to also affirm these attacks as “genocide” and immediately mobilise the armed forces to move in and bring the aggressors and their sponsors under the full weight of our laws.
