Lalong

Social Democratic Party, SDP governorship hopeful in Plateau State, John Pofi has lamented the absence of governance on the plateau saying the state does not have a governor.
Crisis brews over Amapetu succession in Ondo
Speaking in an interview, he said:
“The truth of the matter is that we don’t have a Governor in Plateau, if we had, I wouldn’t have come to contest. “The man hardly stays in Jos, if you want to be a Governor, you are to govern the people, all the things happening in Plateau, the man called Simon Bako Lalong is a stranger in Plateau and does not know what is happening in the State.
“Two or three minutes, he is following the President, he is travelling here and there; he has relocated to Abuja and that is his home and anywhere he wants to move to, he moves.
“I can bet you I know the issues of Plateau better than him and my security architecture has been mapped in such a way that, protecting lives in property is my cardinal point. Lalong has no respect for Operation Rainbow in Plateau. When I come on board, I will revamp the outfit, every vigilante group will be recognized and trained to work hand-in-hand with Operation Rainbow and Operation Rainbow will work with the Police collectively and no breathing space given so that if a chicken dies in a village, we hold you responsible.”
