UN Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, on Monday voiced concern about the humanitarian and economic situation in Gaza and called for continued efforts toward a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Israeli air strikes targeted a site in the Gaza Strip overnight in response to rocket fire from the Palestinian enclave, with no injuries reported, the military and Gazan security sources said on Thursday.

Hundreds of Palestinians demonstrated in Gaza city Wednesday against a possible move by the U.S. to change the status quo of Jerusalem.
