The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja has fixed tomorrow (Wednesday) to commence pre-hearing session on four petitions that are seeking to invalidate President Muhammadu Buhari’s re-election.

The Buhari Media Organisation (BMO) says contrary to speculations, the TraderMoni sheme enjoys constitutional backing as one of the programmes of the Federal Government aimed at intervening in the lives of indigent Nigerian traders.

A few weeks after the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, urged the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal to dismiss his suit challenging the declaration of President Muhammadu Buhari as winner of the February 23 election, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as described the party as home to hypocrites who speak from both sides of the mouth.

The 2019 presidential election, in which Muhammadu Buhari was declared winner, has continued to generate tension. The main opposition candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has since filed a petition at the election tribunal. But he did not stop there. Mr. Abubakar has embarked on an aggressive global campaign that attempts to paint a grim picture of two presidents-elect. The irony, however, is that the central element of Abubakar’s argument, his purported “server results”, lacks common sense. This begs the question: What is Atiku’s real motive?
