Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar on Friday launched a counterattack on President Bola Tinubu, accusing him of hypocrisy, historical distortion and intellectual dishonesty in what his camp described as a “reckless tirade”.

National Coordinator of the Goodluck Jonathan Legacy Project GJLP, Engr. Juan Amechee, has fired back at former Vice President Atiku Abubakar over remarks in which Atiku attributed governance failures during the Jonathan administration to inexperience, describing the comments as “unfortunate and revisionist.”

The African Democratic Congress, ADC, has said the reported suspension of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal, by a faction of the party in Adamawa State is a nullity.

He said, “Atiku is a serial failure. He is a serial contestant and loser, and I am sure that in 2031, he will still contest. Nigerians would be laughing at such a person making that kind of statement that nothing positive has been done.”
