The Presidential Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), in the 2023 election, Atiku Abubakar, has said much as democracy remains the best system of government, it was yet to deliver on its promise of prosperity and liberty to Nigerians especially in the past 9 years.

Atiku said the secrecy surrounding the subsidy payment and the administration’s refusal to make public how much is being spent on the venture leave much to be desired.

Some northern activists and New Nigeria Peoples Party Party, NNPP,  weekend cautioned the Federal Government against signing any military pact with the US and France to pave way for relocation of their military bases to the country.

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has expressed concerns over the number of accidental Nigerian military air strikes which has killed dozens of civilians and left several others injured.

The party’s position was made public in a press conference addressed by the Ag. National Chairman of the party, Abba Kawu Ali, in Abuja, on Tuesday.
