Port Harcourt—Former military Head of State, General Muhammadu Buhari, has said Nigeria had remained dormant and visionless which is why “she is what she is today; because we lacked good leaders in the last 10 years.”

ORGANISED Labour in the financial sector of the nation’s economy has blamed perceived rising cases of frauds, robberies and other unethical practices in the banking sector to employers increasing penchant for employment of contract, casual and other forms of non-pensionable employments who see themselves as unwanted and have no stake in the sector.

Speaking on the moves by the Rivers and Lagos states’ governments to ban all forms of noisy religious worship within their states, the ministers noted the abuse of the freedom of worship by some religious groups, stating that the worship of God should not be characterised by noise and long prayers as it ought to be a quiet, sober and solemn affair.
