The 15 appointments stand uncontroverted. And yet in a futile attempt to controvert the incontrovertible, the President, responding to a newspaper report that 81 of 100 appointments made by him were from the North, published a list of 159 appointments made by him, 85 of which were from the South and 74 from the North

IT is a known fact that Senator Godswill Akpabio supported Mr. Udom Emmanuel as his successor. The ‘uncommon transformation’ of Akwa Ibom State, however,  came at a huge price: A  huge debt profile. Whereas the debt  is impeding the smooth running of the state, it  takes a thoroughbred technocrat and financial manager of international repute such as the incumbent governor to keep Akwa  Ibom  afloat, paying salaries as and when due and still attending to numerous aspects of statecraft.

As we keep on singing the change mantra, we urge all and sundry to key into this vision and it can only be reality in Delta State come 2019 if we divulge our mind from eating only today syndrome but securing our tomorrow.
