SOUL TIES: Deep emotional, spiritual connection between people

Last Tuesday, June 25, 2024, was the birthday of one of the most compelling contemporary African painters, the Nigeria-born Fidelis Ugochuku Atumah Abiamuwe, aka Atumankanism Afrikanism, who lives and works as a full-time artist in New York, USA. As though to commemorate his new age, Atumankanism shared on his social media handle, his most recent works painted in 2024. One of those works is titled “SOUL TIES”.

A collaboration between Wole Soyinka International Cultural Exchange, WSICE, and Adubiifa Network Company, the stage play is billed for a premiere on July 15, 2024, by 6:00 p.m. in Abeokuta at the Hubert Ogunde Hall of the June 12 Cultural Centre and for shows in Lagos at the MUSON Centre on July 20 and 21, with two shows daily at 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
