The Idoma International Carnival, a vibrant celebration of Idoma culture and heritage, is set to return this December with a captivating theme, “The Rhythm of Our Heritage.”

This year’s edition slated for December 23 to 26, promises to be an unforgettable experience, featuring a diverse array of cultural activities and performances.

Now in its 12th year, the carnival has become a beacon of unity and pride for the Idoma people. The event attracts participants and visitors from across Nigeria and beyond, making it the largest street party in the northern part of the country.

The 2024 carnival will showcase the rich tapestry of Idoma culture, including traditional music, dance, fashion, and cuisine.

Highlights include cultural parades, a cuisine festival, music and dance extravaganzas, art exhibitions, symposiums, and a beauty pageant.

The Idoma International Carnival is more than just a festival; it’s a movement to preserve and promote the cultural heritage of the Idoma people. The event is open to all who wish to experience the warmth, vibrancy, and hospitality of the Idoma community.

Media representatives interested in covering the event can apply for accreditation through the official website. Accredited media will have access to press events, interviews, and exclusive behind-the-scenes content.
