Voting for the Governorship and State House of Assembly elections commenced at exactly 8 a.m in many parts of Gombe State.

UNLIKE the last Presidential and National Assembly elections, election materials were distributed early most parts of the State with Governor Ifeanyi Okowa casting his vote in his hometown, Owe-Alero, Ika North East Local Government Area of the State.
