By Peter Duru MAKURDI — Benue State Commissioner for Information and Culture, Mrs. Ntol Adoga Unongo, has disclosed that the 40th edition of National Council on Information and Communication has been slated for Makurdi in the week with N30 million earmarked for that purpose.

President, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), and Arch- Bishop of Catholic Church, Abuja Diocese, Arch-Bishop John Onaiyekan, has advised President Umaru Yar’Adua to prune the administration’s seven-point agenda to one.

According to MEND, “after destroying the entire oil infrastructure in Delta State, the hurricane will move into the neighboring states of Bayelsa and Rivers before passing through the remaining states of Ondo, Edo , and Akwa Ibom and then finally head off-shore.”

The team, led by Mr. Steve Dunstone, said they were in Nigeria to re-enact the Anglo-Nigeria relationship that existed in the days of the Lander Brothers as well as verify claims that would act as yardstick for award of excellence to three governors and some individuals in the country, including Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan.

According to him, “ I think she was pregnant before we found ourselves in this situation. So she delivered in the prison here and we are appealing to them to take her to the hospital, at least for the sake of the innocent child. But they are still being wicked.
