Almost a month after terrorists attacked three schools in Oyo State, abducting no fewer than 40 pupils, alongside teachers, they again struck at Iluke Bunu in Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State yesterday, killing a vice principal and two others, as well as kidnapping three students who were about to write WAEC examination.

The Nigerian Navy has announced the appointment of 3 new Flag Officers Commanding (FOCs). They are Rear Admiral Akinjide Akinrinade for the Logistics Command, Oghara, Delta State, Rear Admiral Matthew Emuekpere for the Eastern Naval Command, Calabar, Cross River State and Rear Admiral Saleh Usman who is taking over at the Central Naval Command, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
