Nigerian-British artist, Lanre Olagoke, who is among the awardees of U.K honnours recently announced by the British Government, has dedicated his MBE award to the resilience of African creative professionals in Africa and diaspora, especially Nigeria.

Plans have reached advanced stage for the National Council for Arts and Culture and the Republic of Turkey to roll out several cultural Programmes geared towards the socio-cultural and economic development of both countries.

A magnificent sculptural piece of a lion showcasing a fusion of royalty, culture, history, and creativity was recently presented to Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, the Kusenla 111 of Ikate Kingdom, in his palace in Lekki, Lagos by sculptor and environmental artist, Dotun Popoola.
