The Nigeria Revenue Service, NRS, has said the Nigerian economy is showing strong signs of recovery and accelerated growth following a series of “painful” reforms implemented by President Bola Tinubu.

Only six of Nigeria’s biggest listed banks rewarded shareholders with a combined N1.27 trillion dividend for the 2025 financial year, while five other profitable lenders were barred from making payouts after failing to meet the Central Bank of Nigeria’s prudential requirements.

Adeniyi said the additional rifle parts recovered include 89 frames, 16 heat shields, 10 trigger pins, three pistons, 25 locking lugs and 80 charging handles.
