THE dust is yet to settle over concerns raised by pharmacists under the aegis of the Phamaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) over what is described as “defective appointment procedures” in sensitive regulatory agencies including the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) and the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC).

Early this year, a Non Governmental Organization held a national summit on Violence Against Girls in Schools. As part of that event, girls from schools in various parts of the country and from primary through tertiary institutions converged on Abuja.

The G-16 Heads of Regulatory Agencies has given a thumbs-up to the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), for its leadership role in ensurimg high standard and good quality of drugs.
