Safe was a very spontaneous song. I had finished recording and was actually mixing another song when it came. I thought the song I was working on at that time was going to be the hit on my album.

I believed that when I came back, I’d be the authority in music. Very few people had degree in music. I have been very lucky to have had the best of education and having the best teachers in the world. All the shortcomings were of my own making. God has given me opportunities that are so rare.

He had a pretty rough time growing up having lost his father at the age of twelve; One who did not leave so much behind to raise the kids since even he had barely enough to live on. Today he’s determined to find the ‘silver spoon’ for himself and possibly keep it for his children.
