Angry Maigari queries Green over Iheanacho
RED-EYED President of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Aminu Maigari did not hide his displeasure with the appearance of Golden Eaglet, Kelechi Iheanacho at the GLO-CAF awards in Lagos at the weekend. Iheanacho who bagged the most promising young talent award came to the awards ‘not properly dressed’ to attract Maigari’s ire. His dressing was not pleasing for a teenager with his sprouting beards unshaven. Maigari queried the Chairman of the Technical Committee, Green, for not ensuring that the teenager appeared in the colours of the country at the awards.
