In a letter by the National Secretary, Labaran Maku, to the state chairman, the party said “The purported suspension, removal or expulsion of some officers by some state chapters were neither in compliance with the party’s constitution nor were the processes adopted by them in consonance with the model approved by the courts as it affects APGA.

“Every such purported suspension or removal or expulsion, not in consonance with the decisions of the courts or which was not approved by the National Working Committee, NWC, is null and void.

“Similarly, all purported replacements of all affected legitimate party officials by other persons are null, void and ultra vires.

“All congress-elected officers suspended or expelled by state, local government and ward chapters (except those removed and ratified by the NWC) should be restored to their respective offices/positions with immediate effect.”
