Four Quarters consult limited, organiser of the forthcoming Small Business Owners’ Financial Summit holding in Lagos has disclosed that participants will learn the basic tools of business success.

SMEs
They will receive training on how to penetrate the market as a start-up and learn how to meet market demands in a volatile market like Nigeria.
The three days summit is scheduled to hold between January 22 and 24, with the theme: “Empowering Small Business Owners”
In a statement, the Chief Executive Officer, Maureen Godman Kenechukwu said: “From research we know that many SME owners have little or nothing to offer yet price their goods and services so high. For your goods and services to be appreciated in the market place, you have to offer competitive price for it. If your prices are such that is worth the goods and services in terms of quality and efficiency then the consumer will gladly offer their money for them. The price of your goods and services doesn’t need to be too low or too high but what is most competitive and befitting to what you are offering.”
“When you want to start-up a business, you have to first master the technical skills required in the delivery of your goods and services as they say, do your home work very well before you start, you can go for apprenticeship, vocational training or get a job related to that field to gain experience and technical know-how about such business. The market place where you come to start learning it will be too expensive to do that. And you may lose your capital if you want to learn on the job as an entrepreneur,” She stated.
