Alhaji Kashim Njiddah, former Group Managing Director/CEO of Afribank Nigeria Plc and other customers have hailed Afribank’s growth initiatives which are anchored on quality service.
At a Customers’ Forum in Kano yesterday organized by Afribank, customers expressed delight at the improvement in the service delivery of the bank in the last one year which has earned their confidence in the institution.
Alhaji Njiddah described developments taking place in the Bank as encouraging which “have made me to continue to associate with the bank since I left the institution.
Afribank is strong from the root and I am confident that on-going growth initiatives in the system have placed it on the path of sustainable growthâ€.
He advised other customers to continue to identify with the bank as the financial institution, which commenced operations in Kano in 1960, has the experience and potentials to meet their needs.
Alhaji Harouna S. Koki of the Ministry of Commerce, Industries and Cooperatives, Kano who has been a customer of the Bank for twenty seven (27) years explained that Afribank’s approach to customer service has helped him to stay with it over the years.
He added that the Bank has enjoyed stability and growth which give customers confidence on the security of their funds and support for their business.
Alhaji Muhammed Muhammed Yayah, a Kano based trader and customer of the bank for over twenty three (23) years attributed his long stay with the bank to the responsiveness of Afribank to support his business. Joke Giwa, Executive Director, Corporate, Commercial and Retail Banking, Afribank while appreciating the customers for their loyalty and long stay with the bank assured that “we will not misplace your confidence. We will always be driven by customer’s preferences and value additionâ€.
She stated that Afribank has invested resources in customer service with a view to meeting customers’ needs. She added that the Two-Year Strategy Plan of the bank emphasis excellence in which customer service is central.
Joke Giwa noted that in line with customer needs, Afribank has repackaged some of its products with a view to making them more market friendly.
The Bank now offers seamless on line connection, mobile banking, and various e-payment solutions for individuals, private and public institutions.
