Fashola’s wife commissions projects in Apapa-Iganmu LCDA

THE wife of Lagos State governor, Mrs. Abimbola Fashola, has commissioned some developmental projects embarked upon by the Apapa Iganmu Local Council Area. Mrs. Fashola, while commissioning drainages and roads at Immam Raji, Adeleye and Bonny Streets, urged the residents to pay their taxes.

Also commissioned are: a new compactor for effective waste disposal, advocacy bins to public primary schools, 2 units of 500kva transformers at Ekujimi and Amusu streets, the donation of new ultrasound scanning machine to St. Theresa Clinic, Amukoko.

Expressing his delight at the completion of the projects, the council chairman, Hon. Adedayo Adesola, said the projects are meant to boost the administration’s efforts in providing infrastructural facilities, waste management and capacity building.

He called on the residents of flood prone areas to liaise with the council to work out a mutually beneficial approach to solving the problem.
