A non-governmental organisation (NGO) – Livewell Initiative (LWI) as parts of its contribution towards improving the life expectancy of the country, has concluded plans to train Nigerians on First Aid/ Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), diabetes, HIV/AIDS and basic life support among others.

According to a statement by the Mrs. Bisi Bright, Chief Executive Officer, LWI, the training, which will lead to the award of international certificates, will contribute immensely to th development of the country’s health sector.

She said, “The Training programmes and certifications are globally recognised and they have been described as a niche-carving, minute-looking but big, alternative meal-ticket.

“Lots of Nigerians have been able to improve on-the-job or get enhanced job placements after attending the LWI Training Programmes.

“The International Certification Courses in First Aid/CPR and Basic Life Support is expected to hold in Lagos, Monday July 12th, while the HIV/AIDS International Certification will run from July 13th – 14th  and the Medication Therapy Management (MTM)/Diabetes Training and Certification from July 15th-16th.
