Nigeria Football Association executive board member, Princess Bola Jegde has declared that the football house was ready to work with the Presidential advisory committee for the good of Nigerian football.
Speaking during the week, Jegede who was part of the Executive Committee, that impeached the former NFA boss, Sani Abdullahi Lulu, first vice-president, Amanze Uchegbulam and former head of technical committee, Taiwo Ogunjobi, said with the twist in events, the NFA board was set to usher in a new direction for Nigerian football, within the short period of time available.
“We are ready to work with all stakeholders to chart a new course for Nigerian football. We all recognise the place of football in the scheme of things in this country. Nobody can toy with the future of our youth,†she said, insisting that the wave of change that swept aside the former FA boss was timely.
“It couldn’t have come at a better time as we had since initiated the move that only materialised last Saturday. We are going to work with the advisory group because they mean well for the good of the country’s game. The next elections must be credible,†she added
