Cameroon captain, Benjamin Moukandjo believes the Indomitable Lions have the players to turn the tables against the Super Eagles who are leading the African group B of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The Super Eagles are leading the group with six points, while the Indomitable Lions have two points from two games so far. As both teams clash in back-to-back ties in August and September, the Super Eagles are aiming to consolidate their lead with a least four points, while the Indomitable Lions are targeting all six points.

“We showed that we’ve got quality, but obviously, we’ve still got work to do if we’re going to trouble the big boys.

“We’ve got a young team that’s only just getting acquainted with international competitions. “We’ve now got a better idea of where we stand, which will help us come back stronger next year and target the World Cup with a lot more going for us,” Moukandjo told fifa.com.
