Twenty six communities under the Ilaje Regional Development Committee, RDC, have benefited from 5600 metres improved composite walkways, among others, built at the cost of N168 million. The projects were commissioned last week. Dignitaries and traditional rulers attended the ceremony.
The RDC also shared personal protective equipment to 300 fishermen in its mandate area.
The committee was established 12 years ago to fast track development of the Ilaje oil communities.
Chairman of RDC, Prince Patrick Ehinmola, during the inauguration of the projects, lauded Chevron and the Ondo State Government for the timely completion of the projects.
