DELTA State civil servants who are landowners have pleaded with Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for further reduction in the regularising fee for their land documents in the Core Area 2A and 2B Okpanam, in the state.
Commending the governor for allowing them to regularize their land title documents, the workers, on the aegis of Committee of Civil Servants Landlords Core Area 2A/2B, in a statement in Asaba, lauded the state government for reducing the regularizing fee by 50 percent.

Protem chairman of the workers body, Paulson Idah, also applauded the state government for initiating a stakeholders meeting with them through the state Commissioner for Land, Surveys, and Urban Development, Sir Dan Okenyi.
They appealed to the governor to allow instalmental payment of the fixed amount as interest free loans, to be deducted from source starting March 1, for a period of three to five years.
