ABUJA—The dirty linen of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, should not be washed in the public, the National Working Committee, NWC, of the party has cautioned.

The admonition was given, yesterday, at an interactive meeting between the NWC and Senator Shehu Sani, called to address issues arising from misgivings about the anti-corruption posture of the Muhammadu Buhari administration.

Senator Sani (APC, Kaduna Central),  told newsmen at the end of the session that the meeting was called to discuss the interim report of the ad-hoc committee on the humanitarian situation in the North East headed by him  and which indicted the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal.

“They (NWC) said the party is not opposed to it (report). I also asked them if the party is opposed to my interim report and they said no and so, I asked what the issues were. They told me that they were worried that each time I fire some grammar in the senate that it shakes them while destroying the solidarity within the party and they want me to slow down.”
