ABAKALIKI — A pressure group within the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, the Mandate Group, MG, has said that  the United States of America chapter Chairman of the party, Prof. Benard Ikegwuoha, be made the successor to  the former national chairman of the party, Prince Vincent Ogbulafor.

The group, in statement by Mr. Bright Olaokpu, its  Chairman and Okechukwu Anigbo, Secretary, said it was time the ruling party injected superior character in the party, arguing that Prof. Ikegwuoha stands to take the party out of parochialism.
