Lagos—Tension has continued to permeate Adebola community, Surulere Local Government, Lagos State, after a detachment of the Police Mobile Force allegedly invades the neighborhood harass anyone who questions their presence within the community.

Vanguard gathered that since the invasion in July, 2016, they have refused to leave. They allegedly occupied a building within the community and any resident who questioned their presence were harassed.

It was learned that the policemen have allegedly converted a structure within the community, 30 Adebola Street, to their post, causing residents of the home to panic over the conversion of the structure to their duty post.

When Vanguard visited the community, two armed policemen were sighted in the house owned by a United States (US)-based Nigerian, Toyin Momodu.

The officers were identified as Victor and Jonathan.
