Work towards rebuilding Africa, Masari tells CPA

Owerri—Governor Aminu Bello Masari of Kastina State, has advised the President of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association,CPA,   Rt Hon. Acho Ihim,   to use his position to make laws that would strengthen the African continent.

Masari stated this yesterday in Owerri, at the grand reception in honour of Ihim who recently emerged President of CPA.

The Governor, who is the Chairman of the occasion called for synergy between the executive and the legislature in order to provide the needed development to the people as well as to find solutions to the economic challenges facing the country.

He said, “ We will live to remember this occasion because one of our own has been elected to be the president of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association, CPA.”

“His position is for the betterment of not only Imo State,   Nigeria and Africa. So I want to wish him and his colleagues productive legislative business.”
