ABUJA—A Stalwart of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief  Ogunka Igboezue, has warned against the thickening plot to remove the National Chairman of the party, Prince Vincent Ogbulafor.

The chieftain described the alleged plotters as “busy bodies,” only interested in bringing a set back to the party.

Igboezue in a statement, described the perceived enemies of Ogbulafor as “shameless individuals, seeking relevance through the pull-him-down syndrome”.

According to him, the party, would have been in tatters, except for “the sterling leadership qualities of Chief Ogbulafor, who has brought his experience, integrity, humility and fairness to bear on party matters.”

Igboezue in a statement yesterday, said the opposition against Ogbulafor, was motivated by self-serving and attention seeking individuals.
