A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Edo Central Senatorial Zone, Comrade Matthew Emiole has said that the reconciliation of Governor Adams Oshiomhole with his deputy, Dr. Pius Odubu was the tonic needed by the party to win the governorship election slated for 10, September 2016.

He said in a statement in Benin yesterday that the reconciliation could lead to the end of the PDP in the state, just as he described the governor as a true democrat who needed peace in the party

It would be recalled that the relationship between Governor Oshiomhole and his deputy deteriorated before the party’s primary as a result of the latter’s interest in the governorship race against the governor’s preferred candidate, Mr. Godwin Obaseki.
