Winners emerge in the 6th edition of Ose Young talent brain quest

Four schools have emerged winners in the different category in the sixth edition of the  Ose  Young talent brain quest held recently in House of Grace, Satellite town Lagos.

Over the years, the competition has created a platform that  aid  mental  development of students through giving them a comparative advantage to discover their creative ability.

According to the National director, Aidanmwosa  Aiwanose, “the most powerful weapon of a nation is knowledge; lack of knowledge tends to poverty. The brain quest competition is aimed at creating a platform for students and pupils to discover and nurture their innate abilities as well as empowering them in  different  area of academic knowledge.

The main Objectives of this programme is to add value to the lives of students, pupils, and the Nigerian Educational system while making knowledge acquisition fun especially in the area of Mathematics, Impromptu speech, and mental quest. We intend to make learning fun, helping them to cultivate a good reading and research habit, as well as discover various abilities in the young mind, thereby enhancing their boldness and confidence academically. The program is held twice a year with the school to schools and individual smart competition.”

In the Impromptu speech (senior category) Whitefield School  clinged  the first position with 79% while Hopespring International School emerged the first runner up with 72% and Dr. Soyemi Memorial School emerged the third position with 68%.

In Debate session (junior category) Anchorage Feild School  cling  the first position with 90.5% while Kabel College emerged the first runner up with 90.25% and Kings High school emerged third position with 89.2%.

Whitefield School also  clinged  the first position in Mathematic (senior category), while King high school and Nigeria Navy Primary school won Mathematics, (junior category and Primary category), respectively.

Nigeria Navy primary school emerged  overall  winner in the mental quest (primary category).
