Poland lead Swiss 1-0 at half-time in Euro 2016

Winger Jakub Blaszczykowski gave Poland a deserved 1-0 half-time lead in their Euro 2016 last 16 match against Switzerland on Saturday.

After Poland created their fair share of chances in Saint Etienne, Blaszczykowski put his side ahead on 39 minutes by converting Kamil Grosicki’s pass at the far post.

The winners will play either Croatia or Portugal in a quarter-final in Marseille on Thursday.
