Akure—GOVERNOR  Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo State yesterday warned against the activities of those he said constitutes centrifugal forces aimed at stalling the nation, insisting that the only means to make the forces fail is the immediate restructuring of the country.

Mimiko said in Akure the nation is currently faced with serious challenges submitting that there are some forces at play with the intention to derail the country.

“We have challenges in our nation, there has never been a time in the history of our country that these centrifugal forces have been more committed to pull us apart.

“These forces have never been this strong. They are getting stronger and stronger by the day”

He submitted that the country must be restructured along the line of true federalism to make it viable.

The governor said God designed Nigeria for a purpose and that the country is not anybody’s contraption.
