UGHELLI—Majority Leader of  Ughelli South Local Government Area legislative arm, Delta State, Andrew Arhavwarien has been suspended indefinitely over alleged misconduct.

Arhavwarien was suspended alongside the councilor representing Ewu Ward 5, Emmanuel Ebikawei for same offence.

According to a statement  by Clerk of the House, Matthew Iboyitete on behalf of the Leader of the House, the motion for the suspension of the lawmakers was moved by the member representing Jeremi Ward 3, Sunday Apah and unanimously adopted.

Meanwhile, the lawmakers immediately voted the member representing Okpare Ward, Dennis Obodje as the acting Majority Leader.
