MFM FC coach Fidelis Illechukwu has admitted that he is worried ahead of their mid week clash with FC Ifeanyi Ubah.
The MFM squad has been hit with a slew of injuries as both Stanley Okorom and Erhun Obanor, who were scheduled to play against Niger Tornadoes, had to leave for Abuja on Monday to join up with the national U-23 team.
“There’s a lot of lapses in our team due to injury and we’ve got to find a solution to this set back. As I’m talking to you, I’m very worried even though we got a win over Niger Tornadoes,” Illechukwu said.
“Though a couple of players have complained of not getting enough playing time, but we the coaches are taking a closer look at the players.
“Some of them really want to show what they’ve got but they’ve still not shown the quality we want. But we just have to encourage them to do more.
The Olukoya Boys will be guest to FC Ifeanyi Ubah today in a week 18 NPFL match.
