With her new video, ‘Molo Molo’ enjoying massive airplay, Cameroon-born singer, Ashley Stephanie is back in Nigeria to up the ante.

Ashley urged African music stars in diaspora to return to their roots, adding that “We have done a lot at the international music scene.
We need to bring some of those goodies back home. That’s why I am here. I have attended Calabar carnival for four consecutive times, sharing the same stage with top African music stars such as P-square, Awilo among others.”
“ Americans are looking up to Africans because we have good music and enviable dance steps. But there is something lacking in our music. The male singers are dominating the space. I think it’s about time female singers came out of their shells and fight for a position too.
We have so much love and respect for our male colleagues, but we also need a better share of the attention. Nigeria should expect more of me because I am here to stay,” she said.
