Delta govt partners Indian firm on vocational education

ASABA—DELTA State Government is to partner Mobile Tutor Limited, M-Tutor, an Indian organisation, to boost the delivery of practical skills to students of technical colleges and vocational centres.

Executive Secretary of the state Technical and Vocational Education Board, Mr Michael Akpobire, who disclosed this after a meeting with representatives of M-Tutors in Asaba, said that the meeting was to work out modalities on how to make learning easier for students.

Akpobire said that the board was out to make technical education attractive to students and commended M-Tutors for deeming it fit to collaborate with them in making technical learning worthwhile.

He promised to inculcate M-Tutor into the technical education learning process. Earlier, the Co-founder of M-Tutor, Sundra Moothy, explained that they would create passion for students, improve conceptual and contextual learning.
