Lagos—Worried by the recent boat mishaps in the state, members of the Lagos State House of Assembly, yesterday, summoned the State Commissioner for Transportation, Dr Dayo Mobereola, Special Adviser to the Governor on Transportation, Prince Anofi Elogushi and the Managing Director, Lagos State Waterways Agency. LASWA, Mrs. Abisola Kamson to appear before the house next week Tuesday to give clarifications on the persistent incidence of boat mishaps across the state.

The Speaker, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, issued the summon after the submissions of members in response to a motion moved by Fatai Mojeed, representing Ibeju Lekki Constituency I, who incidentally, is also the Chairman House Committee on Transportation.
